The project brought together students from Germany, Italy, Belgium, Finland, and Latvia. Together, they studied environmental issues, especially CO₂ pollution, and searched for sustainable ways to reduce it. During the project, participants improved their teamwork, communication, creativity, and research skills through international cooperation.

The program included many activities both at school and outside. The first day was for welcoming participants, getting to know each other, and playing team-building games. Students also presented their home projects called “My City, My School, My Country”, introducing their homeland, city, and school.

In the following days, creative workshops such as “What to Invent Next?” took place. Participants worked in international groups to create and present new ideas and technologies that could help reduce carbon emissions. They practiced teamwork and public speaking while sharing their innovative ideas.

As part of the international program, students visited Brussels and the European Parliament. There, they joined discussions about the EU’s climate policy, sustainable development goals, and the role of young people in protecting the environment.

On the final day, participants visited the city of Hasselt to learn about sustainable and eco-friendly heating systems. The project ended with a creative workshop called “One Sentence for Europe”, where each group shared its vision for Europe’s environmental future. The event concluded with a closing dinner and the awarding of participation certificates.

The project showed that green thinking and innovation are an important part of modern education and that young people play a key role in building a sustainable future for Europe.
